Illumi Facial
illumiFacial® is the ‘next generation’ of the highly successful ‘Photofacial’ treatment, using a new and unique combination of a specialist Lynton chemical peel and the medical-grade skin rejuvenation devices IPL 585 and 650.
The Lynton Illumi Facial can address aspects of premature ageing, such as fine lines and wrinkles, along with pigmentation and vascular concerns. This treatment targets the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, vascular conditions and pigmentation while promoting new collagen production.

This treatment does not require any downtime. You may return to normal activities straight after your treatment.

How many treatments do I need for best results?
A course of six treatments are recommended with four-week intervals.
Treatment protocol
Pre-treatment protocol
Ensure any excess pigmented hair is shaved or trimmed in the treatment area.
Post-treatment protocol
Ensure you apply SPF 30 minimum to the treated area every day, we recommend wearing SPF 50.
Please avoid the following post-treatment:
- Sun exposure or tanning for a minimum of 2 weeks.
- Perfume and products for 24 hours
- Hot showers, baths, saunas, or steam rooms for 24-48 hours
- If blistering or crusting occurs to not pick or scratch the skin

Treatment Rooms is a professional training clinic for undergraduate students studying the Aesthetics BA (Hons) / FdA degree at University College Birmingham, which offers cutting-edge non-surgical treatments at a fraction of the usual cost.
Our trainee aestheticians are supervised by highly-qualified lecturers with a wealth of industry experience and undergo thorough training before undertaking client treatments. As the students are continually learning and honing their skills, please bear in mind that on some occasions treatments may take longer than stated.
Consultation
Before we can perform this treatment, you will need to come in for a consultation. During this, we will assess your needs to check for suitability. Please allow up to one hour on top of the treatment time for this.
