Cryotherapy

A powerful treatment to target benign skin lesions extremely accurately, quickly, effectively and with no stress or pain, these lesions include skin tags, age spots, sun-related pigmented spots and verrucae.

At University College Birmingham, we work with both the CryoIQ and Cryopen devices for Cryotherapy treatments to target a wide range of concerns within a millimetre accuracy.

Cryotherapy is a highly effective and quick treatment which uses liquid Nitrogen Oxide (NO2) to freeze lesions on the body causing controlled destruction of the lesion in a precise application method. Little pain or discomfort will be felt during the treatment and repeat visits are often not required.
